Add Sections to Footer on Squarespace
A confusion a lot of people have with Squarespace is that they presume the header and footer of a website works the same. They don’t.
A footer has a lot more customization options including the ability to add whole sections to it.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at how to add sections to a footer on Squarespace.

Want a framework for designing the perfect homepage?
Within your edit dashboard head to your footer and select Edit Site Footer.
Here you’ll see you’re given the option to add a section both above and below your existing footer.
Select this and you can either choose a pre-designed section or a blank section. You can then add blocks to your section just like you would elsewhere on your website.
All of this will sit in your website footer, meaning you can add anything from a newsletter sign-up box to a whole video gallery to your Squarespace footer.
Once you’ve added the sections and blocks you want and added in your content, hit save and you’re all done!
