Create a Custom Lock Screen on Squarespace
Did you know that you can customize the lock screen of a password-protected Squarespace website?
If you’re sending your client their website pre-launch and you’ve password-protected it, there will be a lock screen with the password field to grant access.

Want a framework for designing the perfect homepage?
To customize your lock screen head to Website > Pages > System Pages >Lock Screen.
Select Change Layout and you can choose one of the layouts for the lock screen that Squarespace provides.
You’ll also notice three other options too:
Branding and text
Media
Style
Within branding and text you can change what your lock screen says, as well as adding your branding e.g. yours or your clients logo.
Within media you can add imagery to the page and style allows you to edit things such as the font and colors.
By playing around with all of these features you can create a fully customized and bespoke lock screen for your clients.
