Leaving Comments on a Figma File [Quick Guide]
Adding comments to a Figma file is the easiest way to provide feedback on web design ideas.
Whether it’s full page designs or graphics for a certain section, chances are your web designer will send over a Figma file for you to review.

To add a comment to a Figma file you simply need to click on the comment icon in the bar that appears at the bottom of the page.
The comment icon looks like a speech bubble.
This allows you to comment anywhere on the Figma file.
So simply click on the section that you want to comment on and you’ll be able to type your comment.
Once you’ve posted your comment both you and your designer can reply to the comment simply by clicking it. This will start a comment stream.
Within your comment you can click the @ icon to tag specific team members in the comment and you can select the image icon to add an image to your comment if it's required.
You can also see all of your comments in the right hand sidebar too.
And that’s it, it’s super simple to add comments to a Figma design but such an effective way to keep communication open between a web designer and client.
