To embed a YouTube video on your website you’ll first need to add the page you want it to feature on.
Once the page is set up head to where you want the video to appear and add a new blank section.
In this new section add a block and choose a video block from the menu that appears.
To embed your video of choice you’ll need to get the URL of the YouTube video and paste this into the video block by selecting “Add from Link”.
Squarespace will “fetch” the video and display it on the page but you can play around with the featured image, size and page design if you wish.
Once you’re happy hit save, and don’t forget to check the mobile view of your website to be sure that the mobile version looks good. You can drag and drop the video block if needs be.
And that’s how you add a YouTube video to your Squarespace website!
