How to Enable Comments on Your Squarespace Blog

Follow these steps to turn on comments and enhance user engagement:

  1. Log into your Squarespace site and go to the Settings panel.

  2. Scroll down to find Blog Preferences and click on it.

  3. Under Comment Settings, toggle on the option to enable comments globally.

Customizing Comment Settings

Once comments are enabled, Squarespace provides various options to refine user interaction:

  • Allow Comment Likes: Visitors can like other users’ comments, adding an extra layer of engagement.

  • Auto-Disable Comments: This sets a default timeframe for comments to close on older posts (optional).
